| Mithril is going to be a
pneumatic crusher robot with close to 7 tonnes of pressure capacity. The
name comes from Frodos armoured shirt in The Lord Of The Rings which says
to be made from the indestructable substance Mithril. We thought the name was appropriate because our armour will be very tough to break as it's made of a Swedish steel called Armox. |
Spinner was built in recordpace
because we only got about two weeks notice prior to the fight. It was to
be first national antweight meeting in Sweden ever and to be held in a
small village called Älvkarleby. The Robot got the workingname "Spinner" and we thought it was just as well to hold on to it and let it become it's permanent name. |
